We launched right at the beginning of 2020 as a mobile espresso bar doing pop-ups and had a good run until COVID shut us down. A lot of uncertainty came about trying to figure out what was going to happen to us or what the next game plan was. Our business model was literally dependent on us being completely mobile and moving from one gig to another, but with the pandemic these type of events were almost non existent due to restriction of large crowds. Many business struggled to stay afloat and some were forced to close permanently. It was definitely discouraging having to shutdown the business within the first couple months of starting it because of something that was completely out of our control, but we stayed hopeful.
After months of not being able to operate, we got the opportunity to open up a little temporary spot inside of a bookstore in the heart of Old Town Tustin. A place for community, workshops, local art, and of course coffee.
We’ve already made a lot of wonderful friends here and are super grateful for all the support we’ve been given. It’s definitely a lot more than what we expected but we’re just immensely thankful for this opportunity especially during times like these.
We wanted to create a place for community, a place for coffee lovers where everyone felt welcomed. A place for memorable conversations, experiences and above all great coffee, sourcing and serving only the highest quality of ingredients.
